The eMC provides information about most prescribed medicines available in the UK. The information is supplied by the researchers and developers of these medicines and is approved by the Department of Health in association with the ABPI.

For people in the UK the following web-sites have to be viewed with some caution. The spelling of medicines in the US can be different and confusing. For example, paracetamol could not be found in some of the following US databases as it is known in the US as acetaminophen.
